(Source: Abstracts of Land Entries, Randolph Co., NC 1801-1833 by Pruitt) So it looks like it is possible that Elijah got land on the Uharrie River and Nathan bought land from John Laitham also on the Uhare River adj to Gardener Shaw's line. Nathan also had land on the Little River. I will have to look to see where Gardener Shaw's land was and also where Godfrey (or George) Luther's land was. According to my map, The Uharrie River ran the length of the county, North to South against Rowan Co that borders Randolph on the West. The Little River is about 1/3 the length of the Uharrie river running north from the southern bordering county of Montgomery.
