I would just like to introduce myself and get acquainted with our Randolph Co. researchers. I am Nola Duffy and am currently acting as CC for the Randolph Co. GenWeb page. I will be actively looking for someone who either lives in Randolph Co. or someone with strong county connections to take the page eventually but in the meantime, I do hope to make a positive contribution and continue Trent's efforts. I can't hope to do what Trent Briles has done during his tenure but I will be actively working to provide new data for all. My home was Alamance Co. but my deceased husband and only child were born in Randolph Co. and I am sure the Moffitt name is familiar to many of you. I lived there for a couple of years many years ago and worked in the local hospitals, including the old Griffin Clinic. I have often wondered what may have happened to it and if it is even standing. I currently do not have any Randolph Co. materials to do look ups but I do have access to the census records and a great number of marriage records. Since I have just started, I have not had an opportunity to check our local genealogy library to see what might be available but will do so shortly and then let everyone know what I might have access to. In the meantime, if anyone has copies of documents related to their own family or know of anyone with cemetery data, I would like to urge you to send along so I can post it for the benefit of all. In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions to improve the current website, let me know. Trent has done such a great job that it will take a little time for me to even figure out the organization and format. He was a whiz and I am not. Nola
