Thanks for the note, Pat. I know that a number of Hoovers and others headed to OH and later to IN. I suspect Vestals may have also. But the David Hoover m [I think] Amy Vestal, may have be the dad. I hope. Their son Jesse, if he was their son, was the one who went later to MO with the Gosses, his in-laws. I appreciate the tip, though. I have finally started putting new material online. At the moment it is still being indexed but the search engine should be done by early a.m. at the latest. I have linked the surnames from the 1850 Cenus to the images which are now online. I ordered the 1850 Census images some time ago and they have just arrived. I have also started abstracting some birth and marriage records as well as listing CV volunteers from Randolph Co. Hope everyone can find something useful I have been trying to contact the author of the Craven book with the thought that if it is sold out, I might ask for permission to post part of it. If anyone knows how I might reach her or a family member, please let me know. Nola
