Surnames: Bunton, Buntin, Bunting, Foust, Brown Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kUB.2ACE/1993.1 Message Board Post: Tina I am a direct descendant of Ebenezer Buntin (or Bunton) of Randolph Co, NC. The family lived at Liberty and donated land to the Richland Lutheran Church there. From memory I believe your Daniel Bunton was the son of Ebenezer Bunton b. ca 1800. He was the son of David Bunton and his wife Barbara Foust. That David Bunton was the son of Ebenezer Buntin who had land grants in Randolph Co, NC and is listed on the 1790 NC census there. David Bunton was the brother of Ebenezer Bunton, my ancestor, who moved to Jackson County, Indiana in the 1820s. My research indicates that the oldest Ebenezer Bunton was the son of one Ebenezer Bunting and his wife Nancy Morgan of New Hanover Co, NC but I feel that it would be good to have further DNA research done to totally prove this connection. So in summary: Ebenezer Buntin (or Bunton) (or Bunting) married unknown They had three children: 1. David Bunton married Barbara Foust 2. Ebenezer Bunton, Jr married Ruth Brown 3. Rachel Bunton never married ------ David Bunton above had a son Ebenezer born 1800 who had a son named Daniel Bunton I would love to have more on your lineage. Hope to hear from you David Travillion Bunton Russellville, Arkansas
