Im trying to trace back my fathers side and im hitting many roadblocks. My father is Otis W. Needham who is a child of Emery A Needham (my grandfather). Im trying to find any data to him and his wife, which i found from the SSrecord info as Nancy Emiline Needham. My dad kept many letters and pictures and i know im in the right ball field. Many of the names in the letters match up with other family members found posted under Carol Vidales research info. I hope i can find someone that has any other info regarding My grand parents Emery A. and Nancy E. Needham ( Caudill ) maiden name. I must say Carol Vidales has done a surperb job. If i can be any assistance to anyone please write to me.
There were two Whitlock ARNOLDs in Randolph Co - one born in 1767 son of John ARNOLD and Martha WHITLOCK, and his grandson born in 1813. Neither had a sibling named James or Fielding. This is my wife's line and neither James Fiedling nor Jeremiah appear in our database. The Francis was probably Francis Jr who was probably born in the 1740s. Sorry couldn't be of more help. Oh thanks very much Kay. What if in the shock of losing their father they thought bush instead of field. I am going to search in TN ..... I sure appreciate all the responses and help from this list. Thanks very much Bonnie > The Greene County, Tn Lambs use the name John Wingfield/Winfield Lamb but > not Wingbush. > Kay Lamb in Tn.
Possibly. I will have to check this name out. Have you seen this name connected to any LAMBs? Bonnie > Could WINGBUSH possibly be a variant of WIMBISH? > > > -- > Elizabeth Harris > [email protected]

This family lived in Randolph County in 1790 & 1800 and then moved to Morgan County, GA by 1810. Have you come across this family thru your Arnold research? I'm trying to find who James Fielding Arnold's parents and siblings were. I have a hunch that his brothers were Whitlock and Jeremiah and father Francis who was in Randolph County at same time. During your BAILEY research have you came across a Bethany Bailey born abt 1758? Supposedly she was the daughter of William Bailey of Spotsylvania County, Va. She married James Fielding Arnold, they lived in Randolph County, NC in 1790 & 1800. Their children was Augusta B. Arnold, Jesse H. Arnold, James Bailey Arnold, Elijah Bailey Arnold, Fielding W. Arnold and I have the daughter as Malinda Arnold. Some of her children named their children, Elijah, Jesse, William, Malinda, Francis, etc. The names are just so similar that it makes me think my Bethany is kin to your John somehow. Bethany moved to Morgan County, Ga with her husband and children abt 1810. If you come across this Bethany or have this Bethany in your line please help me. Thanks, Sandy
