    1. RE: [NCRand] Wren/Wrenn of Randolph County NC
    2. Jocelyn Barrett
    3. Dee, that would be the Franklinville United Methodist Church. They put out a Sesquicentennial Book a few years back and I used that to add to what I read. You can view it in the Randolph Room at the Randolph Library. I believe Mack WHATLEY, a lawyer in town, was on that committee. Rocky River cemetery had many WRENN in it and that cemetery was listed in the Liberty/Providence book. Might try Alamance or Chatham 1850 census to see which WRENN lived there. Rocky River is just inside Chatham line now. 2. Jane Randall
    3. I recently found on line a World War I draft registration for my grandfather and it was listed Pitt County, NC. How could I get a copy of the original? The one on line was so hard to read. His name, birthdate and my grandmothers name was very clear but most of the rest was kinda washed out. I looked in the Pitt County census records and didn't see them. I knew they had lived in Lemon Springs for a while and mostly in SC. Pitt County kinda threw me off a little. Thanks :-) Jane

Needham In the 1880 Census of Randolph Co., Emery A. appears as the son of Alfred L. and Margaret A. Needham, age 1, which would put his birth date in the vicinity of 1879. I am particularly interested in your grandmother, Nancy E. Caudill -- for "obvious" reasons. <G> Please let me know more about her parentage, etc. Thank you for answering.
