Thank you for writing. You have helped me establish there was a TB sanitarium in Tryon. Can you tell me where in town your family lived, the street perhaps? After the TB scare was over, some sanitariums continued as regular hospitals. If I can find out where it was, I will try writing to see if there is still a hospital there. I do appreciate your help.
