I was wondering if maybe Mary had a brother named William also. William and Jane had 3 children, Bessie Henretta Shehan and her twin brother Frank or Francis Shehan b. 4-30-1881 in South Carolina. They also had a daughter named Bertha. No date of birth for her. I know that Bessie married Aaron Evers from Elizabethtown, N.C. and by the early 1900's they had moved to Laurinburg, N.C. because their children were born there between 1907-1916.I have no other information on Frank/Francis Shehan or Bertha Shehan.
