I descend from John Blackwell who married Nancy Elvira and had at least one daughter, Mary Ann (born March 1, 1835), who married Thomas Melvin Walker. They had ten children. They were from Rutherford County and moved to Tryon and were found in the Polk County censuses for at least 1860 and 1870 and 1880. I am interested in learning more of the Blackwells. Thank you for your help! Linda
