They had at least three children: Jesse Roland Owens, born 1822; John Dick Owens, born 1823, Thomas Owen, born 1838. I have heard that they had 15 children, but this is all I have. These families lived in Transylvania County, NC and were shown in the 1870 census. I do not descend from the Owens line. John Dick Owens married Mary Malinda Reid, an ancestor aunt.
