I'm researching the same line of Jacksons as Jacque, except our family descends through Louisa Jackson (d/o William R.) who married Preston B. Haynes c.1885. On the Dimsdale side, I would like more information about John Landrum Jackson and if possible to link the two Jackson lines. I am also looking to link the Joseph Dimsdale line (1826-1902) with the William Dimsdale line (b. about 1787 SC). Joseph married Elizabeth Elizer Jackson (1834-1921, ancestry unknown) in 1849 in Rutherford Co. (before Polk split off). The Jacksons and Dimsdales are so interwoven in my lines, but I've not been able to put them all together. Any help with these Polk/Rutherford Co. families would be appreciated and I am more than willing to share info. Janice L.
