I'm trying to find info on Thomas Calaway Smith b. 1837 d.1895, who resided in Green Creek and is buried in Sandy Springs cemetery. According to census records and his tombstone his first wife was Jane___?(this could be Annie Stacey) Their children are: William Miller Smith 1869-1940(Martha Donnahoo) Mary E. Smith 1871-1960( Peter Amaziah Henderson) Texanna 1875-? Thomas's wife Jane died in 1879. He remarried in 1883 to Sarah A. Lancaster(daughter of Ab and Ellen Lancaster) According to the record, Thomas's parents were William and Elizabeth. I can't find anything on William but Elizabeth is listed on the 1870 Polk census in Thomas's household at age 60. Can someone please help me with this line?
