The area that you are looking for "Pacolet River" probably went to Rutherford County. However, it is important to note that there was some confusion on the state line and some records for this area may be in South Carolina. I think that it was probably the other way round (North Carolina records may be for areas that were really in South Carolina). Only adds to the fun. Who or what are you looking for? In that time period there were not many property owners along the North Pacolet River.
