He spelled the name as Irvin or Irven. He definately said it began with an "I". He said her family came from England and that she had a brother that lived in the Ashville area but could only remember refering to him as "Uncle Bud". He also said she had a brother named Posey. I had always been told that Elzadie/Elzodie was a native American but now I am unsure of this information. My father is old and my have some facts confused. I plan to talk with him later today and I will ask him why we were always told by eveeryone that she was Native American. Please feel free to e-mail me at any time.
