Apparently I have the same man as two different men in my database either that or there is something else amiss, not sure at this point. I have him as: John N. Edwards b.2 Dec 1839 rutherford,NC, died 3 Mar 1862 Rutherford,NC (son of Reverend John Edwards and wife Margaret) married Talula Burgess b.1851 children: Alberta b.1860 and Ramah b.1870 NOTES: 1860 Sandy Run,Rutherford,NC, John is with parents, he is a teacher 1870 Columbus,Polk,NC, farmer--may NOT be same man 1880 Whiteoak,Polk,NC, farmer, in same spot as John and Talula of 1870, they have a son that has an unclear name that looks like Albsten, could easily be Albert, and Ramah is missing.
