    1. Re: [NCPOLK-L] Polk County Cemeteries
    2. In the small town where I am from in NY we were told there were 16 Brucher children, yet there are no graves. No one seems to say much. Someone did tell me about 3 graves in an old cemetery and I was able to find them. The thing is I still have no idea where they found this information. I know she told someone to get her book! I did later find a cemetery listing book and paid a lot for it, the Bruchers are not listed in it! We finally determined as I did manage to get two death certificates that they are all in un-marked graves. My aunt too remembered going with her mother to put flowers at graves under a big tree. Even though a family member is on the cemetery association they did not answer my letter. So you see what can happen! The thing is they were land rich, the state now owns all the land the family owned and it is a state park.
