    2. no connection as far as I know. It is now called the Green River Plantation. It was built by Joseph Carson in 1815. His daughter married a Mills and their daughterr Mary Mills married Frank Coxe who was Tench Coxes son. Frank Coxe bought the house after the civil war and it went to his daughter Maud Coxe who owned it until her death in 1938. It is now open for tours upon reservation. Tench Coxe also owned vast land holdings in the area called the Speculation Lands which covered much of the land near the Green River Plantation and can be seen on many deeds in the area
