Hello, This is my first post to this list. I am trying to find my ancestor, Jeremiah Barnes who married Mary Lu[a]to[e]n in 1705. I found record of this marriage in the BIRTHS, MARRIAGES, DEATHS AND FLESH MARKS PERQUIMANS CO. I found it on a film that I rented through the local FHL. Can anyone tell me if there is likely to be a bond posted for this date and if so where I could find it? I am in CA and have tried at the Sutro Library but found nothing except this marriage record in the NC HISTORICAL REGISTER. I desperatly want to find Mary's mother and father.
