    2. Dear Willie: As I was scanning through my e-mail message, I noticed someone was able to give you a web site for the National Archives. Hopefully this will help. I have been unable to look through my material, but if there is a local library in your area that has a genealogy section or check with your state library's genealogy department to see if they have the forms you can fill out for Civil War records on family members. I was able to get some military and pensions records on my great grandfather's records from the Civil War through the National Archives in Atlanta, Georgia. They may be able to assist you. They usually will want to know pension number, State Unit, and the units that your family member(s) served in no matter if it is North or South. Depending on what you can obtain, the information can be quite a find. I was quite excited when I received my information. Good luch on your search. Each little or big find hopefully will encourage you to keep going. I am pulling for you. Season's Greetings Becky Wilson Indpls., IN rrjwilson@aol.com
