Recently I sent some material re the Maudlin family obtained from early Perquimans Court records. There is also a couple of pages about this family in "The History of Perquimans County North Carolina," by Mrs. Watson Winslow, 1931, reprinted by The Regional Publishing Co., Baltimore Md, 1974. And there is a map showing where the original grant of land to Ezekial Maudlin is located on the Perquimans River.
