Hi Janet - We are related through some of the first group. The book is "Old Albemarle County North Carolina Perquimans Precinct Court Records 1688-1738," compiled by Weynette Haun, Durham, NC, 1980. The records consist mainly of law suits, petitions, registering deeds, registering livestock markings, orphans, etc. There are few if any, vital records. There are entries for Wilson, Belman, Thomas and Mary Blount/Blunt, Charles and Thomas Overman. No Pike. In your second group there are none of the names except for one entry for an Alexsander Jurden and one entry for a Richard Harrald. Guess they weren't in Perquimans before hitting Gates/Hertford/Bertie.
