I am trying to locate records of William and Rebecca Wiate's children. he died in 1687. His children were Elizabeth, John, Sarah, Samuel, and Thomas. Born between 1676-1684. John is my line. Would land plats for this area be in Virginia. Since he died in 1687 would that also be in Virginia. I have found no records for him. He did give his children land. Elizabeth married a Jones.
