Le's question reminded me of a question I have. I recently obtained a copy of an old deed showing that my ancestors owned a plat of land in what was called the "Old Neck" area of Perqimans County. The land was bordered on one side by the River and a swamp/creek on the other side, bisected by what was mentioned as "the main road". This deed is from 1841. Can anyone give any hints as to where this area would be?
