Le Isn't the Berkeley Parish Register the same as the __Old Albemarle County NC Perq. Precinct Births, Marriages, Deaths and Flesh Marks, 1659-1820__? It is a long list of births and deaths but not a history of the area. Many of the early settlers are listed in here. Weynette Parks Haun (243 Argonne Drive, Durham, NC 27704) sells a transcript of this and many other early NC records. Many libraries have Weynette's books.
