He practiced law in the settlement of Little River Perquimans Co. NC. in 1696. How can I locate these records. Would the NC State Bar have these records. In 1696 he first appeared as an attorney in the home of Governor Harvy, where court was held and Gov. Harve presided as judge. But from 1698 til his death 6/Oct/1703 court was held in his home.
