My note: from the two above entries I can assume that John PERRY, sadler is the same as John PERRY of Perquminans Co. note the date of the original land grant. I can only find one John PERRY on the tax lists and militia rolls. He may have served as constable for Perquimans Precinct also. Also there is only one Jacob PERRY same as Jacob PERRY Sr. He married first Hepsebeth CLARE Between 1721-1724 and later Ann LILLY in 1754. He married both time for dowry land. Jacob Perry Jr is Hepsebeth's son as are Reuben, Israel, Dempsey and John (B. 1733)daus Elizabeth, Priscilla, and Hepsebeth.
