Back in 1998 I transcribed a few colonial Perquimans tax lists, and these got posted to a few places, including Jeff Swann's USGenWeb Perquimans site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncperqui/perqui.htm I have finally composed my own site for these; it carries all the old lists (1702, 1713, 1718-1719, 1754) plus a new one, 1772. The 1772 is different in that it is posted as page-by-page jpeg scans of the actual document. Sadly, I've run out of time to do transcriptions, but the new home scanner allows me to get things out in another, and hopefully still usable, form. Next up will be assorted Corn List documents circa 1715, plus the 1787 property tax list. Both of these will be scans, too.
