    3. Hi I am very much interested would like to know how or if the Oates fits into that family. Joseph was born August 1697, so they would have to fit into the paternal side of his family. Joseph's mother might have been Elizabeth Perry. His name appears at the bottom of her will on the left as a witness I said. Jacob L.
