    2. Tracy Jones
    3. Still trying to locate information on my oh-so-elusive 3rd ggrandfather, John SIVAGE (sometimes spelled Sevage, Savage, Sauvage, Sivedge). Date and place of birth unknown, but my grandmother (she'll be 90 in October!) insists that John (her great-grandfather) was a French man, and at some point was in Louisiana. It's also written, by his son, that he served in the War of 1812 (on which side, I don't know), but I can find no verification of this. John SIVAGE died on Christmas Day, 1836 near Elizabeth City, NC, after marrying once that I'm aware of, and fathering four children (all born "near Elizabeth City" NC). The children ended up in Hendricks Co., IN, and were raised in the Quaker faith. If any of the following names ring a bell, I'd sure appreciate if you'd drop me a line! 1 John SIVAGE b. ? d. 1836 + Anna MORSE (Morris? Moss?) b. ? d. 1857 IN (NOTE: Anna SIVAGE remarried to Robert HIATT aft. 1836) 2 Isaiah R. SIVAGE b. 1826 NC, d. 1908 IN +(had 3 wives: 1) Aschah HODSON 2) Sarah HADLEY 3) Eunice LINDLEY 2 Lucretia SIVAGE b. ca. 1830 NC, d. 1908 IN + Alexander ARCHER b. 1828 NC, d. 1888 IN 2 Armstead SIVAGE (MY LINE) b. ca. 1831 NC, d. ca. 1900 IN + 1)Keziah CHAPMAN NC 2) Martha ? 3) Mary Ellen HENSON 4) Emma DAVIS 2 John G. SIVAGE b. ca. 1834 NC + Lucinda PAINE b. ca. 1839 Thanks!! Tracy Chapman Jones - Genealogy & Links http://www.scican.net/~ptjones/genealogy.html
