    3. Hi, Le... I don't find any of them in the FTM Marriage cds for NC. There are several mentions of Joseph Oates in NC Hist. and Gen. Register, but no marriage for him. There is a Joseph mentioned in father James' will of 1703. Wife of James: Elizabeth. I will keep my eyes peeled for these names! Carolyn Le Bateman wrote: > > Can someone do a marriage lookup for me. 3. Carolyn, I think you have a very good idea. I am looking for the wives of Joshua White born 1797 in Perquimans to Zachariah White and Miriam Elliott. I think he was married in 1818 to Millicent Riddick of Gates County. In 1850 his wife was listed as Barbara LNU and in 1860 His wife as listed as Emily LNU. If any of your references shed light on who these women were please let me know. 1. [NCPERQUIMANS] My Chappell Brickwall: Keziah Chappell who married David L. Copeland
    2. Willie D Smith
    3. I'm still trying to find the parents of Keziah Chappell who married David L. Copeland in Chowan County about 1866. They were in Perquimans County, N.C. by 1896, when their son Hugh Copeland married Lucille Ethel Evans in the home of Henry Newby in Hertford.
