Are all the courthouse records for Perquimans County still in existence? Are they still in the county or are they held by the State? Have any records from the time period around 1750 to 1800 been transcribed and published? If yes, are they currently available for sale? I am especially interested in deeds and estate records for Richard Clements or any other Clements records. Thank you, Carolyn Smotherman May I help you in middle Tennessee?

Who is running the NCPERQUI site on GenWeb? I cannot get any response from the lady who used to run it. My wife's family wants the Speight info on there pulled as it contains a great many errors, which need some major corrections, but I get absolutely no response from the lady who used to own it so that I can affect these necessary changes to the data. Hey Gordon, Yes it has been too long since we spoke. I had some serious health problems that I have been dealing with so I haven't been online much in the past 4 months or so. The Pasquotank site will hopefully be back online tonight or tomorrow at the latest. I have been working on it today cleaning it up and getting links changed. I will send you the link as well as thru the list as soon as it is completely loaded on the server. Hope all is well!
