    3. Hi Tim I have some Raper females listed in the Encyclopedia of Quaker Genealogy by Hinshaw. Sarah Overman married into the Raper family in 1806 and was disowned by Pasquotank Monthly Meeting.     3. I have a Quaker Henry Newby B. 11,18,1826 to Joseph and Rachel Newby who married 9, 9, 1824 Joseph died 3, 9, 1895 Rachel died 11, 10, 1839.     3. I've had such a difficult time tracing a line through the husband, I'm going to go for the wife's, now. My 3rd ggrandmother's name was Anna MORSE (Morris, Moss?). Her first husband (my 3rd ggrandfather), War of 1812 Veteran John SIVAGE (Savage?) died in 1836 "near Elizabeth City." Anna MORSE SIVAGE remarried ca. 1847 in Perquimans Co. to Robert HIATT. They had three children together, and moved to Guilford Co., where Robert HIATT d. ca. 1851. Anna also had four children during her first marriage. All her children from both marriages were raised in the Quaker faith, but I don't know if the first husband (John SIVAGE) was a Quaker or not.     3. Hello! I am searching for information pertaining to my wife's great-grandfather William Oliver Speight. His wife was a Boyce and they were married sometime before 1912. I am wondering if he was any kin to the Uriah Winslow Speight from Chowan county who died in Perquimans County in 1912. Uriah, I have found out was born October 9, 1835 and was the son of John White Speight and Sarah Winslow. I'm thinking Uriah must be some kin to William Oliver, since on the 1870 census, he was living next to another of my wife's ancestors, David Linsey Copeland. The Boyce who married William Oliver Speight was a daughter of Mr. Boyce and a Mary White. I have found a Benjamin White who married Mary Jane Boyce in Pequimans on May 9, 1888.
