Karin, Could I please ask you to look for the surname FIVEASH when it's convenient? Any info would be most appreciated :-) Thanks, Nancy E Parr
Hello Ardie, I'm trying to find the father of my Jeremiah Cannon who in 1744 married Elizabeth Elam in Goochland Co, VA. I've seen a Jeremiah Cannon who came to Pequimans in 1684, perhaps as a Maryland Quaker. My Jeremiah had a contemporary Jeremiah Cannon who was in Pequimans after 1700, but younger than the one who arrived in 1684. He was a Quaker while mine was not, even though many Elams were. I would be delighted if you could provide any of your Cannon data. I have lots, starting with the 1744 marriage. Bart Cannon Seattle
Hello Karin, Thank you for your generous offer. Will you please check Mary Anderson born 17 Oct 1722 and married Benjamin Arnold, or other Arnolds. Also, Sarah Cannon and her father, Jeremiah Cannon Ardie, ardie@fortwayne.infi.net

If you have a chance, do you show the name SIVAGE mentioned? Thanks!
There are no entries for Nathan or Reuben Perry. There is an entry for Jacob Perry and one for Samuel Perry and one for Thomas Perrie and a Nich. Perre. I also received a request for Reuben Perry from Joy - jroos@win.bright.net. Sorry. Would greatly appreciate a lookup in the 1850 and 1870 Perquimans County censuses for William and Margaret SPEIGHT. Had a son named Wilson Speight. I'd like to carry this Speight line further back if possible. Believe the aforementioned William Speight married Margeret Wallace on Feb 6, 1840 in Perquimans Co., NC. Any idea who his father was? Especially interested in Speight wills and administrations between 1800 and 1930 in Perquimans County. Thank you in advance for your help! Hello Karin I am curious to see if the book might have any information on James Oats and Sarah Fellows in it. Perhaps his father Joseph left them deeds of real estate. I think the time period would be 1724 to 1769. ALso the Elizabeth Blount I mentioned her father was either William or Jacob Blount. Both names are listed on deeds that Joseph was a witness to. I believe the right side is where there signature was does that not signify a relation to the wife. __________________________________________ NetZero - Defenders of the Free World Get your FREE Internet Access and Email at http://www.netzero.net/download/index.html
>> Hi does this book mention William Wiatt who passed away in 1687 he supposedly is buried at Bethel Church. His wife Rebekeah Kent died in 1728. Thanks Le.<< Everything that's on the Web pages is all I've got, sorry. Tracy
I have a copy of "Souvenir Program (Second Edition) Friends' Church, Plainfield, Indiana, September 19, 20, 21, 1914 THE OLD 1858." I've retyped and uploaded this information to my Web site. There are quite a few names mentioned, and there were several photos, which I uploaded to a connecting page, if anyone's interested. http://homepages.go.com/~thenightflyer/friends.html. Enjoy. Karin, Thank you so much for the help. I'm looking for any information on any of the RAPER'S . I know there was a John Raper there from a 1694 Taxabe list I found. There was also a Josiah. So if you can find anything on theses two or any other Raper's there. Our library here in Lubbock, TX does not carry much on North Carolina. Hello All, The administration of the NC PERQUIMANS CO. list is the sole responsibility of myself and your List Host, Bill Jernigan. Please DO NOT take it upon yourself to "do our job". Please re-read the list rules that you received when you subscribed to the list. If you did not save them, contact me and I will send you another copy. We deal with inappropriate posts *privately and not on the list*. If you have a problem with the content of a post. the person posting or the administration of this list you may contact Bill or I, *privately*, at addresses listed at the end of this message. Hi Karin, thanks for your offer. I am researching James Anderson who married Debrow(sic) ___,. They had a daughter Elizabeth born 10/6/1706. I have copies of his deeds and a copy of his will, about 1741-42. We would appreciate any other information your book might have. Dear Mr. Collins, All of us are aware of the purpose of these lists inasmuch as we're not idiots. I'm sorry that someone disturbed you, however, I thought the "funnies" were very funny and a welcome break. If there is anything that we ought to be aware of in our research it is the fact that all these people are most assuedly "dead." What better daily reminder that all of us should take the time to "smell the roses" this world has to offer while there is still time. Nancy was trying to do us a kindness. I'm sorry she was not repaid for such. Maybe it is one reason so few people bother. For what it's worth, thank you, Nancy, may your tribe increase. Hi - I will do look ups in a book I own called "Old Albemarle County North Carolina Perquimans Precinct Court Minutes 1688-1738," by Weynette Parks Haun, 1980. The copyright reads. "No part of this book may be reproduced in any manner whatsoever without permission except in brief quotations." I think it would be alright to state a name, date and brief description of the event within these guidelines. If there is some disagreement about this certainly I won't do it. >>It is inappropriate to be sending totally unconnected material to all subscribers on a mailing list. I receive more than enough emails that actually need reading. When I join a genealogy mailing list for a specific county, I don't expect to receive anything other than material relating to genealogy in that county. Sending off-subject emails tends to destroy the usefulness of a mailing list.<< And your sort of post should be sent by private mail. I enjoyed the funnies.
It is inappropriate to be sending totally unconnected material to all subscribers on a mailing list. I receive more than enough emails that actually need reading. When I join a genealogy mailing list for a specific county, I don't expect to receive anything other than material relating to genealogy in that county. Sending off-subject emails tends to destroy the usefulness of a mailing list. At 11:45 AM 10/04/1999 -0400, you wrote: >Hi All, > Saw this on aother list and thought you might enjoy it :-) >Nancy
