Greetings to all on the list: I have information on Terry H.Melton b 1796 probably in the area which became TN. He was in KY by 1817 and spent the rest of his life therre. He was associated with Brock, Templeton, Osborne, Lewis, Messer, Bailey, and others in the east KY. I will be happy to share my information. I am searching for Terry's parents. His father may have been named Preston Melton or Preston may have been a middle name and his name may have been, for example, William Preston Melton. Family traditon says one wife was Ellen Calvin and the other wife was Polly Pollard. I believe Polly's surname may have been Pafford. If anyone has Meltons and would check for me, I will be happy to share my information or do research in exchange for your information.
