Hi Group, Bebe asked me to post how the Green family was related to the Strouds, and I will do so, but should point out that this information came from David Green, a GREAT researcher who descends from Elijah Green, born 1752 in Ireland. David and I are convinced that his Elijah and my William Green, born February 6, 1762 in Prince Edward County, Virginia were brothers, but we have not been able to prove that relationship at this point. We are also trying to identify the parents of Elijah and William Green, if any on you have any idea. David Greene tells me that she was a daughter of Elijah Green. A brother of John Stroud, Peter Stroud, born 1791, married Rebecca Green, another daughter of Elijah Green. I am sure that David Green can give you other details of these families, as he has been researching for years. I have copied David on this message if you wish to "talk" with him. According to the Web Page, these brothers were the sons of Jesse Stroud, born 1758 in Orange County, NC, who married Naomie Stroud. Jesse was the son of Peter Stroud, born about 1736, who married Naomi Last Name Unknown. Peter Stroud was the son of John Stroud, born about 1674 in England, who married Hannah.
