researching the tester surname and need help in finding those who came before. John and Sallie Tester lived in the early 1800'S in or around Johnson City Tn. They had children Wilbur Wiley b. 1864, Andy, Daniel, Tom, David, Sarah, and Nancy. Wilbur married Nancy Emily Dunford in 1888 in Smyth Co. Va.---they had children John Wesley Daniel, Ezra James, Wiley, Andrew, Carrie, Emma, Ida, and Sally. The four sisters lived most of their lives in Marion, Va ----Our Testers invented the "Tester Bed" a sort of canopy bed. It was also told that we came from Wales or England and were Wheelwrights. Not much to go on I'm afraid, but that's all I have.
