If you ever find out anything more on Mary Holcomb I sure would like to know what it is. I am tracing Moses Holcomb and his father Burrell from SC. I have Moses born in 1802. Moses and wife Mary had a daughter Elizabeth A. (Betsey) born in 1824 in SC or TN. Elizabeth married James B. FLOYD and had Sarah Evaline FLOYD in 1856 in Jackson County, AL. Somewhere in the Holcomb line is a Cherokee Indian.
