Thanks for all response to the question on the archives. It has been largely in favor. I will continue to participate. There have been some concerns raised and I will try to address them in other posts. One of the concerns is that the archives are open to the public. Some may not realize it, but this list is open to the public. Anyone can subscribe and read any message on the list. Subscribers are not screened. I am working on "guidelines" for this or any other "public" mailing list. These will be posted soon. By "guidelines", I mean what I would follow myself on any list. These will not be rules. By "public" list, I mean any list that someone can subscribe to without screening. Of course, it is all in vain if nobody writes a message. Come on, folks! This is the only place that I know of to share and compare information about this the glorious Orange county as it was originally formed.
