Robert CHAFFIN Jr., b. 20 March 1768, place unknown; d. 27 July 1833 Lawrence Co., TN; married ca. 1788 to Amelia NICHOLS, b. 1768, dau. of John NICHOLS (d. 1816 Maury Co. TN) 2. Rebecca CHAFFIN, b. abt. 1760-65, m. Orange Co., NC on 2 Feb 1782 to William McBROOM. 3. _______ CHAFFIN m. _______ALLEN others? Also does anyone know if the John NICHOLS, b. ca. 1730-35, father of Amelia NICHOLS CHAFFIN, was the same John NICHOLS who was a member of the Committee of Safety in Orange Co. NC in 1781?
