    3. Hi Group, I received a copy of an Orange Co deed that I believe may help me piece together some info about my ggggggrandfather, John Cook. John was married to Sarah, they had a son named Edward in 1760, in Orange County. But if this deed belongs to THE John that I am researching, then it shows he came from Sussex County VA. So I am checking out a few VA webpages. In the meantime, does anyone here have any information on the Henry Cook Jr. it mentions here? John may also have a brother, Nehemiah Cook, and may also be related to Archibald, Robert and David Cook. Any help would be appreciated. And thanks to Louise, for giving me some helpful suggestions! >From Orange County Deed Book 5 p.520 25 November 1790 Thomas Mulhollen of Orange to John Cook & Henry Cook Junior late of Sussex County, Virginia, now of Orange, five hundred pounds, 270 acres, on Stinking Quarter Creek, begin at a post oak on Peter Gatner's line, S45W 42 ch. to a black oak cor. of 4 tracts, S45W 52 ch. to a white oak, N45W 52 ch. to a stake, N45E to first station; signed: Thomas Mulhollen: witness John Sloss, Wm.
