Hi to all, I'm hoping someone on the list might have some information on the BOLES family. I am trying to find the parents or birthplace of William BOLES/BOWLES who was born abt 1785. William married in Madison County, KY. to Elizabeth GUMM, 1807. Elizabeth was born in KY., and her father, William GUMM was born in N.C. The bondsman for William was John SNETHEN. I have quite a bit of information on the BOLES family that was in Stokes County, but have been unable to find a family for William. If anyone knows anything about any of these folks, please contact me, and I'll be glad to share what I have on the Boles/Bowles family.
