I'm seeking any info on Frances FARMER Bowen who was born early in 1774 at Hillsborough, NC. and died in Wilcox Co., AL October 2, 1842. Frances married Luke Bowen in appr 1790 and moved to Fayetteville. She seems to have been somewhat educated--enough to have taught at the Raleigh, Fayetteville, and Sumterville (SC) Academies.
