(2) FANNIE EMELINE EDWARDS, December 12, 1882. 9. PICKNEY B.4 HARRIS (RICHARD3, ROBERT2, THOMPSON1) was born February 13, 1836 in Dagley Settlement, Herald's Prairie, White Co. IL. He married EMMA ETTA MEAD, daughter of LAFAYETTE MEAD. Notes for PICKNEY B. HARRIS: Enlisted Aug. 14, 1861 in the 29th Illinois Infantry, Company D under Captain Whiting. Entered service as Private and after 14 months was promoted by election to Second Lieutenant, serving in that capacity during the rest of his service. He was in the war for about 3 years, being mustered out at Natchez, MS Sept. 1864. Children of PICKNEY HARRIS and EMMA MEAD are: i. PERRY5 HARRIS, b. November 27, 1878. ii.
