Hello to All: Conrad Shoemaker and his wife Susannah sold their land in Pennsylvania in 1767 and moved to Orange Co. NC. His name appears as a signer of one of the Regulator advertisements a short time later. A map published by the Guilford Co. Genealogical Society that shows landholdings in the late 1700s states that he did not own land in NC. I would like to find out whether he initially bought land in NC and perhaps lost it through the fraudulent deals that were apparently rife under the colonial government then. Any suggestions where to find this information? Thanks for your help, Dave
