Robert Gibson, b NC 1793 m 1810 to Martha Belton, b 1792, may be the daughter of James Belton. Robert enlisted in war of 1812 from Wentsworth, Rockingham, NC in 1814. Their first five children; Absolam, Tillman, James M. Lucinda & Elizabeth were born in NC and the family then moved on to TN, IL and MO. Looking for parents of Robert and Martha or any info pertaining to them. Since there were many Gibsons in NC I thought I might find a connection on this list. I will try and contribute to the list.
