An Archibald CAMPBELL, born c?1760, married a Rebecca KIRK in Orange County NC in 1784. They had 14 children, amongst whom was Duncan G. CAMPBELL (moved to Georgia and became an Indian Commissioner), born 1787 in Orange County. I am trying to research the antecedents of Archibald CAMPBELL and Rebecca KIRK. I believe the name of Archibald's father was James, but am not certain, and I would also like to know his mother's name and maiden name. Any ideas where to start?
