    2. Hi, Just thought I would post this for those of you with GUNTER/DRAKE/MOORE families. The "Sally DRAKE" mentioned was Sally MOORE North Carolina State Archives Chatham County Court Minutes, 1834-1841 cr 022.301.10 Tuesday, May Sessions 1837 "Deed of gift from William DRAKE to Sylvia GUNTER proved by the oath of M DRAKE " "It appearing from Satisfactory to this court that WILLIAM DRAKE a pensioner of the United States departed this life on the 12 day of March 1836 and that he left surviving him Sally DRAKE his widow it is therefore ordered that the clerk certify the same. "The last Will and Testament of William DRAKE deceased was proved in open court by the oath of George H SHUTT a subscribing witness thereto in the following words and figures to wit and ordered to be recorded. Moore DRAKE one of the executors appeared in open court and was qualified according to law.
