Hi All, Still looking for more information on my Edward Netty Cook and parents. Orange Co. 1790 Census mentions an Archibald, David, Edward, Ephraim, Henry, John and Nehemiah. So I know alot of these Cooks have to be related, but not sure how. Here is what I have so far. I believe these are Edward's parents---John and Sarah Cook- Orange Co. NC (I believe John had a brother named Nehemiah) Edward Netty Cook born 1760 married Anne Thomas on Feb 4 1785 died 1842-buried Cleveland Co. NC Jessie Cook married Martha Aiken on April 15 1816-Burke Co. NC their son: Aaron Cook married Caroline Hildebran/d great great grandparents (living in Burke County, NC in 1888) their son: Samuel M. Cooke great grandfather born March 29, 1866 (according to familiy bible March 28, 1867) died May 27,1936 buried in Woodland Cemetery, Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co. Calvin A. Cook was also son of Aaron and Caroline. His family went to South Carolina. Samuel marries Ida Franklin December 30, 1888 in Lovelady Township, Burke Co. N.C. Samuel and Ida's children: Charles C. Cooke (my grandfather)born April 1898 in Marion, McDowell Co. N.C. died 1967 married Hallie Dee Milton, later divorced 2nd wife, Clara May Draper Charles and Hallie's children: Charles, Glenn (my dad), Richard, Dorothy, Phyllis, Georgia, Vivian, Peggy most of the kids grew up in NC Glenn and Lily Cooke-my parents Glenn born in Hickory NC their children: Lynne, Valerie and Roberta (that's me, I pretty much end this Cooke line) Any help in sorting out these Orange Co.
