Jeff, Aren't you looking for Sandy Creek and Pounder's Branch in Granville, not Orange? I imagine that almost every county has a Sandy Creek. I know about Sandy Creek Baptist Church and early historic Association near hwy 421 in Chatham Cty., but it is near the Randolph Cty. line area. John Brooks, whose son Isaac m.
