Hi Elizabeth: I am also working on the Henderson line in old Orange County. I'd love to share/swap info with you. Right now I'm back to James Isaac Henderson (1700-1770) and wife Mary Rhodes Henderson (died bef 1770) who immigrated from Scotland possibly through the Port of Wilmington. Their son, Argaleus Hercules Henderson (1727-1806) was first found in Bladen County, then later moved up river to old Orange County, now Chatham County. We estimate his land to have been located near where HWY 87 crosses the Cane Creek in North Chatham (north of Brown's Chapel UMC today). Many of his descendants are still in Chatham today, including me. I have quite a bit on this family. Does any of it match your Henderson family? Linda
